Manufacturing website design for the people who specify
Who reads your site
A homeowner buys on a feeling. An engineer buys on a number. The person who lands on a manufacturer’s website usually has a drawing open in another window and a short list of capacities, voltages or tolerances to check. If your page answers those numbers in ten seconds, you stay on the list.
Manufacturing website design follows from that reader. Specs go in text, not inside a PDF. Every product family gets a page an engineer can link to a coworker. Drawings download from the page that describes the part. And the quote request asks what a sales engineer needs to price the job, nothing more.
JT Studio builds these sites for small and mid-sized manufacturers: fabricators, equipment builders, component makers and anyone whose buyer reads a spec sheet before calling.
Where a manufacturing website loses the RFQ
Specs locked in a PDF
The engineer wants one number and has to download, open and scroll a catalog to find the figure. Google cannot rank a figure inside a file, and an AI assistant will quote a competitor whose page states the rating plainly.
“Contact us for drawings”
A buyer working late will not wait a day for a DWG. The competitor who offers the file on the page gets designed in, and your quote never gets requested.
Downloads nobody hears about
When drawings are free with no form, sales never learns who took one. When the form is long, nobody fills the form in. Either way the lead disappears.
One message for two buyers
An integrator wants pricing and lead times. A plant engineer wants to know whether the product fits the line. A homepage written for both convinces neither.
Edits that need one person
A new load rating or a project photo waits weeks because only one person knows the page builder. Pages left untouched for a year tell a buyer the company has gone quiet.
A site that loads like a catalog
Dozens of scripts and full-size photos make the first screen crawl on a plant floor connection. The buyer gives up before the product range appears.
What an industrial website needs to hold
Industrial website design, line by line. Each feature below, and what the feature earns you.
Specs as page text
Capacities, voltages, speeds and tolerances written out, so search engines and AI answers can quote your numbers.
A product finder
Enter the load and the width, get the right family and the matching drawing. Engineers find the fit without a phone call.
Downloads that alert sales
A short form before the CAD file sends sales the name, company and file requested, so every download becomes a lead.
A path per buyer
Integrators and plant teams each get a route through the site and a quote form that asks the right questions.
Parts store link
Replacement parts sell from your store while the main site handles quotes, so service customers never wait on a rep.
Updates your team can make
Change a rating once and every page that shows the figure updates together, with no page builder to fight.
Berken Solutions: a conveyor build in progress

Berken Solutions designs, fabricates and assembles conveyor in Oconto Falls, Wisconsin, and sells to system integrators and the plants they build for. Three families carry the range: Light Goods, Medium Duty and Pallet. Light Goods is published at 24V and 48V DC, 60 lb and 200 feet a minute, and those numbers lead the new homepage.
The concept puts the installation photo edge to edge, the spec strip under the headline and the whole product range on one screen. A CAD finder takes a load and a belt width, names the family and hands over the matching DWG once the visitor leaves a name and company, and sales gets an email naming the person and the file.
- One quote form with separate questions for integrators and for plant teams
- A direct path to the Shopify parts store and its 21 products
- Click-to-call and click-to-email on every phone screen
The build is under way, so there are no results to report yet. This section will carry the launch numbers once the site goes live.
Two buyers, one site
Integrators and distributors
They already know the category. They want your families, your limits, a price path and a lead time, fast. Give them a short route: product range, spec table, drawing, quote. Reward the repeat visit with a page that never moves.
Plant engineers and buyers
They know their line, not your catalog. They need help choosing: a finder, an application page, a photo of the product running in a plant like theirs. Then the same quote form, with questions written for someone who has never ordered from you.
B2B website design comes down to this split. Name both buyers on the homepage, give each one a door, and let the quote form sort them, so sales knows who is calling before picking up.
From owners in other industries
No manufacturer has launched with JT Studio yet, so these come from a fence builder and a medical practice.

How the build runs
Every build is led from the line card to launch day by the studio’s creative lead. Most of the work happens by video and shared files.
Line card review
Your families, your limits, your buyers and who in the company answers quotes.
Written price
A fixed number and a page list, signed in the client portal before any design starts.
Specs and drawings
You send spec sheets, DWGs and plant photos. The copy gets drafted from those files.
Private preview
Each page appears on a preview link as the build moves, and engineering checks every figure.
Go live
The site moves to your domain, forms are tested end to end and search tools are connected.
What the price guarantees
No moving number
The figure in the proposal is the figure you pay. Adding pages or tools is the only way the total changes, and you approve each one first.
A month of fixes
For 30 days after launch, any defect gets repaired at no charge, including form routing and download alerts.
Your company owns the site
Code, content and domain belong to your company. The files leave with you if you ever move on.
Limited build slots
Every JT Studio site is designed and built by our small team, with no account team in between. That keeps the work close to your engineers, and we take on a small number of projects at a time. Open start dates show on the booking page and fill in order.

The price of another year
If nothing changes
Industrial buyers shortlist suppliers long before they call. A rep can hand a prospect your name at a trade show, and the prospect will still check your website that evening. Whatever the site shows that night is the company the prospect remembers.
Each quarter with specs buried in PDFs is a quarter of engineers choosing the supplier whose numbers they found first. Those lost RFQs never show up in a report, which is why the cost feels like zero until a competitor starts winning the jobs you used to quote.
A Business Website goes live in 2 to 3 weeks from the day your files arrive. One call this week gets you a written price and a page list to take to the next sales meeting.
Questions manufacturers ask
What should a manufacturing website include?
A homepage that names what you make and who buys, a page per product family with specs in text, a drawing or CAD library tied to those pages, a quote form that asks what sales needs, proof such as plant photos and certifications, and contact details on every screen.
How much does web design for manufacturers cost?
JT Studio starts at $950 for a one-page site, $1,900 for a Business Website with product pages, $3,500 for an Authority Website with industry pages and $5,500 for a Custom Website with a finder tool and a brand system. The one agency page found publishing a price puts custom manufacturing sites at $15,000 to $50,000 and up.
Can we share CAD files and still know who downloads them?
Yes. A short form before the download asks for name, company, email and phone, then emails sales with the person and the file. Keep the form short and the files fast, or engineers will look elsewhere.
Do we need e-commerce?
Only for what sells without a quote, such as spare parts and accessories. Engineered products still run through the quote form. A separate parts store linked from the main site often handles both cleanly.
Integrators and end users: one site or two?
One site with two paths. Name both buyers on the homepage, give each a route, and let the quote form ask which one is writing. Two sites split your search authority and double the upkeep.
Can our team update specs ourselves?
Yes. A site editor can be added so your team changes a rating or swaps a photo without code, and a care plan covers requests if you would rather send changes by email.
Is industrial website design the same as industrial design?
No. Industrial design shapes physical products. Industrial website design means websites for industrial companies. Google mixes the two, which is why the phrase returns galleries and product design blogs.
Do you work with manufacturers outside Arizona?
Yes. JT Studio is based in Chandler, Arizona, and works with companies across the US by video. Berken Solutions is in Wisconsin, and the process runs the same way wherever your plant sits.
